We have been putting the finishing touches on things for the last few weeks. Concrete patio, sprinklers, grass, fence, stair railing, and all the fun furnishings. I bought a toaster the other day - I'm pretty sure the one we have is a hand-me-down & we've had it for 22 years! This is the FIRST toaster I've ever purchased.
Yesterday was officially our "go live" date on AirBnb. We received our first booking the same day! Boy did that feel good, now to get it filled up for the summer. I am so excited to start hosting guests in this fun space. I am not so naïve to think we have everything right, strait away - but I think that's part of the fun of it. We will get to see where we've left gaps & fill them to the best of our ability, making everyone's stay as perfect as possible.
I can't thank all of you enough for taking the time to share our post on social media, telling all your friends and family about what we've been up to. You all have been a blessing, boosting our confidence - expressing how successful everyone anticipates it will be. We can't wait to meet new people, share this space & start to reap some of the rewards of all our hard work.
As stated in a previous update - we will have an open house. I am going to wait for some of the grass to grow in & we will plan a get together to thank everyone for their support along the way!
